A Spark of Initiative
1968
The history of De Franceschi S.A.S. began in 1968, driven by the ambition and vision of Ivo De Franceschi. After ten years of experience as an employee, at just 24 years old, Ivo decided to start his own business together with two partners, founding a workshop with a clear focus: precision engineering.
What started as a project by young craftsmen has, decade after decade, evolved into a technological point of reference.
1990
From the 1990s onward, with Ivo as the sole active partner, the company consolidated its specialization in the design and manufacturing of injection molds and extrusion tooling for plastics, while preserving its identity as a versatile and meticulous mechanical workshop.
The Evolution of the Family and the Service
2001
The new millennium marked the expansion of our vision. In 2001, LD PLAST S.r.l. was established, led by Alberto De Franceschi and dedicated to injection molding. This synergy enabled the De Franceschi family to offer an increasingly comprehensive service.
2007
In 2007, with the entry of Marco De Franceschi into the company, tradition met the innovation of a new generation, guiding the business towards new strategic goals.

2013
The beginning of a solid partnership in the automotive sector, a field that demands the highest quality standards.
Leading to the production of components installed in vehicles from some of the most prestigious international automotive brands.
2021
A turning point in the extrusion sector. Thanks to a new strategic partnership, we have expanded beyond design: today we are able to supply complete tooling systems, from the die to the calibration line, and to directly manage production through our three in-house extrusion lines.
